BSA Halloween Party for the Kids

Last Saturday, October 16, the Black Student Alliance along with other student organizations hosted the annual Halloween Party for the Kids. It was from 12-3pm in the North Mall of Webb Center and some of the activities included face painting, mask decorating, and make-your-own candy treat bags. Children from the community began to arrive at about a quarter to 1:00 and it was nonstop fun until the end. Kid friendly Halloween themed music was played while children were able to decorate their own sugar cookies, decorate paper plate masks, and interact with each other and the members of the organizations. The kids had a chance to hit the pinatas and collect candy. There was even a costume contest and guess how much candy was in a jar provided by the men of 3D. The Halloween Party was very successful and the students were very happy to have provided such a good and fun act of community service for all of the children.
